COPE
By Michael Cicchetti, Troop Historian,
We started this September off with a campout to Hidden Valley/Camp Bell and Project COPE (Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience). A number of scouts challenged on the COPE course and advanced their knowledge in outdoor skills. The scouts learned skills in team communication, decision-making, leadership, problem solving and teamwork. Although the goals of COPE are to instill trust and cooperation, it is just fun to do.
