Ranger Rendezvous
By Michael Cicchetti, Troop Historian, October 6-8,
2006
This weekend troop participated in the Ranger Rendezvous
camp out at the Pelham Fish and Game Club.
Many of the attendees were dressed in clothing that represented the rangers
of colonial times. The nights were cold, but the days were filled with
activities such as black power rifle shooting, archery, shotgun, and both
tomahawk and knife throwing. In keeping
with the hunter tradition, the several patrols feasted on Venison and any
“wild” meat for dinner.
