If anyone has a suggestion for a cool design for our troop trailer let us know. We can either work from the idea you have or you can submit a drawing before the end of this month.
Troop Ski Day at Cannon Mountain
Deadline to sign-up
is Tuesday Night. Tickets are only $20. Scouts new to skiing/snow
boarding should make arrangements to have a parent accompany them. For
new skiers and riders, there is a beginners-only area that limits access to the
rest of the mountain. Scouts who are capable of skiing/riding the entire
mountain will be in buddy groups.
USS Salem and Ship Building Museum Overnight Trip

The United States Naval Shipbuilding Museum lets you experience life on board what was once one of the Navy's most powerful class of cruisers in the world. The USS Salem CA-139 is now the worlds only preserved heavy cruiser. She is moored at her birthplace, the former Fore River Shipyard in Quincy, Massachusetts.
Our Overnight Adventure offers participants activities that include simulated combat situations such as radar tracking, damage control and simulated fire fighting. Other activities include scavenger hunts, cold water survival, hoisting, and first aid lessons.
Its the hands-on aspect of our program that make us unique. Our Adventurers get access to areas of the ship off-limits to regular guests. They even sleep in the same bunks used by naval personnel and eat in the same mess decks. So, are you ready for a Shipboard Adventure?
We have a limited number of spaces reserved for this trip. Permission slips will be distributed on Tuesday night. The troop is subsidizing part of the trip by paying $23 per person of the $43 program fee. Participants will pay the balance of $20.
