The 2008 Troop Family Guidebook

The Family Guidebook has been updated.  It is a great resource for questions you might have about the troop.  You can access it from the troop's home page at www.troop19.org

There is also a PowerPoint presentation on our website that summarizes the key points in the Troop Family Guidebook.

Topics include:

New Parent Orientation This Tuesday Night

All new parents are encouraged to attend.  If you are not a new parent you may attend.  This does provide a good refresher and you may pick-up something that you missed a few years ago.  Or, we welcome you feedback and things that you learnt as a new parent that would be good to pass along.  In other words, this meeting is open to all Troop 19 parents:  new, not so new, and those in between.

There is also a New Parent Orientation Presentation on our website that summarizes the key points in the Troop Family Guidebook. We will use the presentation as a basis for discussion on Tuesday night.

We will provide an overview of the troop, expectations of the scouts, yearly activities, and what you as a parent can expect.  Please join us for an informative session and feel free to ask questions any time (at the meeting, after the meeting, next week, next month, etc.).
