Troop Dues

In reference to the troop dues,
Everett Woodward & I are trying to get scouts caught up on their dues. The amounts that Everett gave people last night did not include what was paid on 4/8/08 & there were a couple from the week before. Please understand that ALL dues should be paid to the Patrol Treasurer so that it can be immediately marked off on the dues envelope. When money is handed to me directly, and not through the Patrol Leader or Everett when collections are made, there is a chance that it will not get marked off right away on the envelope. (i.e.: the envelopes are still in the hands of the patrols or Everett).

Please do NOT hand the dues to me but make sure it goes from the scout to the Patrol Treasurer to Everett. This is also true with dues coming from scout accounts. You can ask me what is in the scouts accounts but please advise Everett who will advise me and mark it off on his sheets.
On Tuesday nights, I am usually writing checks, collecting moneys from the events people, sorting through the finances. It will help immensely by making sure the dues is done this way.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation and please feel free to ask questions.
