Grand Canyon Trip a Success
Scoutmaster Weekly Update          May 5, 2008

Grand Canyon Trip a Success!

Warning: This Tuesday night’s meeting might be contagious with Grand Canyon Fever.  Troop 19 has returned from a fantastic week at the Grand Canyon.  Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the trip.  Many have remarked how the Canyon was even better than they had imagined.  All four hike crews accomplished their goal in hiking their planned route and everyone hiked from the rim to the river on a variety of challenging trails.  We will publish a specific Canyon update to this newsletter and will have pictures and journals on our website soon. We will also have a special presentation of the trip at a future meeting.

Reminder: Parent Committee Meeting this Tuesday Night

All leaders and parents are encouraged to attend.

Pilgrim Church Service Project starts this Saturday at 8:30

Each patrol will be assigned an area outside of the church to rake and pick-up winter debris.  We will finish around noon time with a BBQ and have a whiffle ball tournament afterwards.  Troop 19 has paid for a new US Flag for the church flagpole.

Eagle Court of Honor
