May Campout

We need adult leaders to commit to our troop campout on May 15-17th at Camp Calumet in Ossipee, NH.  This is a well planned weekend with the program based on sports, fitness and advancement.  The Scout Coordinator is Dan Hein and the Adult Coordinator is Nate McManus.  Camp Calumet is a Lutheran Church Camp that has excellent facilities and program areas for our Scouts to use.  If you can’t stay for the weekend, at least consider volunteering to drive either on Friday or Sunday to help with the logistics of moving a troop of Boy Scouts.  Please contact Nate (Natey19@hotmail.com) or Dan (danhein@me.com) to assist.

Scouts, Scouters, Parents, Family and Friends,

You are all invited to attend the Eagle Scout Court of Honor to recognize Scott Champagne and Everett Woodward in attaining the highest youth award in Scouting.  The ceremony will be at Pilgrim Church on Sunday, May 31st (time to be announced shortly)

Duty to God: The Religious Emblems Program
Religious Puzzle Patches
The Duty to God Promotion Patch is a four-segment puzzle patch with 8 to 10 colors per segment and is 100% embroidered. Only one segment will be offered in any given year along with the anchor segment with the Scout kneeling. Participants are encouraged to earn all four segments over a four year span.
Part 2
The purpose of these patches is to encourage youth and adults to learn about and promote the religious emblems programs. The requirements are simply
1) attend or make a presentation on religious emblems
2) make a commitment to Duty to God by earning a religious emblem or helping other scouts earn their religious emblem.
These patches are offered by Programs of Religious Activities with Youth (P.R.A.Y) (click here for www.praypub.org) which administers the religious emblem program (all denominations) for both the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.
