Troop 19 Weekly Update
...

Holiday Wreath Sales

Troop 19 was in full force this past Sunday with scouts and drivers all over the city.  By the end of the day, your collective efforts netted the troop with 277 wreath sales.  We are off to a good start.  Let’s keep the momentum going strong.  Remember each wreath sold not only helps the troop fund our activities and equipment but you receive dollar(s) in your scout account.  You can use your scout account money for trips (summer camp, Yellowstone and other troop related trips) and also for Boy Scout related equipment and clothing needs.  Our goal is for every scout to sell at least 20 wreaths.  There will be some good prizes for all our sellers but you need to sell at least 20 to qualify.  The more you sell, the better choice you have in picking prizes that are available.  Top seller gets first prize pick etc.

A few suggestions that have worked in the past;

·         Taking orders at your place of worship

·         Securing permission to sell on election day at school

·         Business owners that might want to purchase as gifts for customers or employees

Thank you to all that helped with driving, pre-wreath kickoff planning and record keeping.

Tissues & Toothpaste Collection:

When you are out at Wal-Mart, Grocery Store, Target, CVS, Rite Aide, Walgreen's pick up one or two items a week for the pastoral collection.

Scout Uniforms

Everyone should have a complete official BSA Uniform.  If you do not, please make arrangements to get what you need.  If there is a financial issue on this, please speak to the Scoutmaster.  Uniforms can be purchased in Nashua at Educational Outfitters on Broad Street (near Goodales Bike Shop).  The troop does have recycled uniforms available. Complete uniform = BSA Pants (not any green pant), BSA Shirt and belt.
