Troop 19 Turkey Campout
This is the week of one of our most popular camping trips of the year! Our turkey campout is a Troop 19 tradition that goes back for over twenty years. Besides the Thanksgiving Dinner that our patrols cook in cardboard box ovens and a wide array of side dishes and desserts, we have activities going on throughout the day and a campfire on Saturday night. This will be the last tent camping trip until the spring. The next overnight is not until January at the winter cabin at Storer Scout Reservation. The permission slip for the event is on the website. Don’t forget if you are 4 weeks or more behind in your troop dues, you need to pay your troop dues to attend.
Parents and siblings are invited to attend the Troop’s Turkey Dinner on Saturday (early afternoon), however to keep the numbers under control you must contact Mr. Jim Woodward to secure a place at the table. Cost is $5 per person for the dinner if you are not a registered leader of the troop.

Scouts and Parents!
It has been called to my attention that the Boy Scouts have been running a bit wild around the building. They were seen in the School Wing and in the Art Room which are both places that are off limit. On the planter in the entrance way and that siblings of the scout families are not being watched and allowed to roam the building.
Would you please reminder the scouts, scout leaders and parents to treat the building with respect.
If you have any questions or concerns, just let me know.
Thank you!
Kathy
