This Tuesday night we will be having our annual Holiday Party. Each family is asked to provide some baked goods for refreshments. If you have any questions on what to bring, contact Mrs. Champagne. Our wreath sales have concluded with a total of 1642 wreaths sold! Congratulations Scouts on an outstanding job! We may have a few leftover wreaths if there are any last minute orders. We will be presenting prizes at our Holiday Party. To qualify for a prize you must have sold at least 20 wreaths. Once we reconcile our expenses, we will make a determination on how much money will be awarded to the Scout accounts.
Congratulations to the Fighting Irish Patrol in finishing in 1st place at our Practice Klondike Derby. Ten patrols competed from four troops. Our other patrols did not fare as well and learned some key lessons to prepare for the District Klondike and Freeze-out on February 4th and 5th. Mark your calendars to plan for this important date. Two of our patrols were challenged with only three scouts each to pull their sled around the course and we definitely need field a full patrol to succeed at the District Event. Thank you to Mr. Bisbee for coordinating the activity with the other scout troops and to all our adults and youth staff that supported the practice day by helping at a station.

The next troop activity is the Winter Cabin Campout at Storer Scout Reservation. We have a heated cabin reserved and the camp is ideal for sledding, ice fishing and working on outdoor skills.
